Any Which Way

“Any Which Way is abstracted from landscape emphasising texture and colour, which works as an abstract any way round.

I love to paint in acrylic on a gesso prepared canvas and usually put paint on or start with applying paper collage, without much idea of subject. After painting, creating areas of colour etc, the painting seems to suggest the next move and I become absorbed, until there is a suggestion of “something” and I know when it is finished, but the process might take days or weeks.”
