Melissa was born and raised in Sussex and has always had a love for animals and nature. She loved art at school and her Grandmother was very good at painting in watercolour and hopefully passed on a gene or two! In her paintings Melissa is trying to put as much life, movement and colour behind every stroke and hoping to spread some joy and make the viewer smile. Not everyone likes a snake or a slimy frog but here along with her cuddly panda, it opens the viewer to look at all creature in a positive light.
