Self-taught in art since her 20’s, Jackie returned to her brushes when she retired.  Jackie has always been attracted to colour mixing and abstract paintings, and worked with a variety of media.  The introduction to Acrylic Flow during a demonstration showed her a new dimension and style.  Acrylic Pour started in the 1930’s by the Mexican artist David Alfaro Siqueiros, it was said to be the happy marriage of science and art complexity.  Colours and methods are the first step in Acrylic Flow, and then the result is always surprising.  Jackie likes to cover her paintings with Epoxy Resin on small and medium canvases.
